One Life

Many of us will take life for granted. We will put our heads down and follow the heels of the person in front of us without ever looking up to see if we are following the right person.

On a day such as today, which marks the 10th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in American history, we need to look up and ask ourselves “are we living our lives, or just surviving”?

I can guarantee that every single one of those 2,977 people who died on 9/11 would live their lives each and every second if they were given another chance.

Life can be cut short at any moment and it can happen to any one of us at any time. Maybe your heart decides its had enough, maybe you don’t see that car turning left in front of you, maybe you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe you just don’t ever wake up.

So today, especially today, take a deep look at how you’re living your life and if you’re not happy in any way, make it right. Life IS short. Make it the best you possibly can.
